Hi! I'm Brooke Bennish. I am a trained vocalist, guitarist, pianist, and songwriter. I'm currently a resident musician at The Independent in midtown Manhattan on Fridays and Sundays, performing covers by request and accompanying myself on guitar and piano for sets up to three hours long!
I have a vast catalogue of music ready to go, focused predominantly in jazz, rock, folk, pop, and musical theatre. If you're looking to add some atmosphere to your bar, restaurant, private party, etc., I'm your girl!

Hi! I'm Brooke Bennish, a New York-based singer, songwriter and actor. Originally from Salisbury, Maryland, I began voice and piano lessons when I was eight years old. I moved to New York in 2017 to pursue an education in musical theatre, and to further pursue my passion for music. I graduated from The American Musical & Dramatic Academy in 2019 with a degree in Musical Theatre. That same year, I began writing my own music. In July 2023, I began performing as a resident musician at The Independent in midtown Manhattan, singing covers for 2+ hours to bar patrons. I have also played covers at Fort Washington Public House, Red Lion, and Bar 9. I've performed my original music at Rockwood Music Hall, The Bowery Electric, Berlin Under A, Brooklyn Music Kitchen, Bushwick Public House, Bar Freda, Sid Gold's Request Room, and more.
I require only a three prong outlet to plug in my amplifier. Or, if you'd prefer I use the house speakers, two Female XLR Connectors. I am able to perform in as small or big of a space as you'd like!

For Keys: Ideally, if you would like keys in your set, I ask that your venue provides the piano/keys. My keyboard is not easy for travel, however this can be provided with an additional travel cost, adjusted based on location.
