December 18, 2023Sorry to say, it was, to put it bluntly, a bomb.
Brendan started out ok, but it quickly declined. There were many people that actually came up to me and told me how bad he was. So I have to be frank, being the event planner, it was very embarrassing. I would definitely not recommend him. I'm truly sorry Brendan.

I was under no illusion about how my performance went and did not leave feeling good about it. There were a few factors working against me but ultimately I am not sure my material was right for the crowd.

Brendan was polite, aware of his audience, and had my mom laughing consistently. Everyone loved his performance and was laughing at all his jokes. I would hire again and recommend!

About
Brendan began his comedy career in 2016, performing at the legendary St. Louis Funny Bone open mic. He quickly established a silly, tongue-in-cheek style and was hosting for names like the late Dustin Diamond and Kevin Farley within his first year on the scene, later on Mitch Fatel and Larry Reeb.
He has built a reputation of professionalism and courtesy in his years in the St. Louis comedy community, eventually running several open mics and showcases around the area. Most notably the Who's Who Comedy Showcase at Night Owl in South St. Louis.
In 2018 Brendan was a finalist in the St. Louis Funny Bone Comedy Competition, and was a semifinalist in the Helium Competition in 2020. In 2022 Brendan received fourth place overall at Jukebox Comedy Club in Peoria, IL. This was also the year Brendan took his performance national and was on stage across 8 different states. He was also featured in the top 101 comics across the nation at The World Series of Comedy main event in Las Vegas, performing at The Strat Hotel's LA Comedy Club.
