What to expect

We play all of your favorite hits from the 90’s and 00’s, faithfully recreated as close to the original album versions as possible from bands like Blink-182, Green Day, Avril Lavigne, The Backstreet Boys, and much more. Our shows are an energetic party from start to finish. We live by the motto, “All killer, no filler.” Every show is like a house party from your youth.

About

Booty & the Hoefish kicked off as a spontaneous jam session in a Superior basement, where original members Ryan "Bay Cool" Bayless (drums), Scotty "Broadway" Kvam (vocals), and Mac "Daddy" Nagy (bass) bonded over drinks and a shared love for the 90s and 00s music of their youth. Frustrated by the dominance of 80s rock at local gigs, they set out to revive those nostalgic hits with faithful, album-close renditions, carving a niche where few dared to tread. Their first break came in June 2023 at Bricks Wrenshall Pub for a high school reunion, igniting a wave of demand that transformed them into a Duluth/Superior staple. Expanding to a six-piece with Megan "One More" Davidson (vocals), Jude "Caramel Dream" Thomas (guitar), and Jack "the Ripper" Androsky (guitar), the band has grown into a semi-regional force. With hefty investments in lighting, confetti cannons, fog geysers, and their own sound and lights, they’ve turned shows into immersive 90s/00s tribute experiences. More than a cover band, they deliver a full sensory spectacle, boasting area attendance and till records while always pushing to elevate their electrifying performances.
