September 12, 2017After experiencing live music at a dinner party hosted by a friend, I decided that would be a great thing for us to do with another group out-of-state. I found gigsalad online and completed my request for a guitarist/vocalist. I quickly received several bids and began evaluating them. Bobby Covington was our choice! Communication with him was easy. He arrived early to set up and played for three straight hours! Our group of ten selected songs from his playlist beforehand and sat back to enjoy his music. We thoroughly enjoyed him, and I expect the friends hosting us for the weekend will call on him again for entertainment.

Bobby was born and raised in the Suburbs of Illinois where he played saxophone up until his senior year when he ditched sax and picked up a guitar and never looked back. Bobby played music in church youth group and found out he could actually sing. In 1997 his professional career began as a music director in a church in Southern California. After marrying Harper in 2005, he began performing in a wine bar which expanded his musical offerings to more than sacred spaces. Today, along with chasing his 3 boys around, there is hardly weekend where he is not performing for a restaurant, wedding, private party or corporate event.
I can be completely self sufficient for sound. If I need to plug into an existing PA, I have streamlined my inputs to just one XLR for my whole rig. I can mix from my pedal board to get the perfect mix.
