I have been a professional Square Dance Caller and Instructor for over 30÷ years. It's fun to Square Dance and it isn't difficult. I have done numerous events for Schools, Churches, Civic Organizations and Business parties as well as having been a featured Caller for the Hawaii State Square Dance Federation. I was featured on the Jimmy Kimmel Show on ABC. Consulted for an episode for Nickelodeon.
I teach Western Square Dancing, (very easy) Contra, Line Dancing. Let's have fun at your next event.
On my "Travel Distance Page" It says I only travel 200 miles. I actually travel to all 50 states.

We had a wonderful experience with Bob Van West at our Barn Dance event with close to 300 attendees - children, youth and adults - who had a great time engaging in all kinds of dance moves with his great engagement and instruction. Square dancing was quite an ice breaker for a multi-generational party. Our family wore western gear and danced with abandon as Bob guided our steps. Music was sooo fun and all of us loved Bob. He is a talented performer and teacher.

About
I am a professional Square Dance Caller (that really is a lot of fun to say). I started dancing in 1976 at Ft. Rucker, AL (while stationed there). I love to teach, it's so much fun. I like to show people who are not familiar with the Square Dance activity how much fun it is. I always tell people, if you can walk, you can square dance. Come expect a lot of fun.
I provide all the equipment, music and talent. Nothing will be difficult and I can promise you will be all smiles. I will teach, Squares, Contra Dance, 2 Step and some super easy line dancing for you to enjoy. Call, E-Mail, or text your contact information. I look forward to hearing from you.

I own my own pro audio equipment. I have 2 Hilton 300's; Hilton 75A; and Carvin 6 Channel Amplafiers. Hilton Speakers; Director Column Speaker; Carvin Speakers. Needless to say I have enough equipment to cover most any size venue.
