What to expect
The best description of what I have to offer to my client, is that, they will get a well-rounded elegant show presenting the music from the 'American Songbook' and other jazz standards. I always endeavor to take my audience on a musical journey through time by creating artistic arrangements for fit the theme and mood of the evening. There's nothing more exciting than knowing you can bring the audience 'into' the music and having them listen intently. That alone gives me my biggest thrill. The kind of music that I do is not just for the older set, but for the young as well. These songs stand the test of time, and deserve to be heard by anyone, and not based on an age demographic. I will always be proud of what I do, and would just like to share it with all those who care to listen.

Guests would include, Al Martino, Jerry Vale, etc. He hosted his own program called, ‘The Jazz Session’ also on WLIM during that time. Bob has spent the last ten years pursuing work in movies, and his latest film, ‘Conned’ is now out on DVD. It can be ordered through, ‘Amazon’or BestBuy’.com and can also been seen on, ‘Netflix’.
My passion to perform music from ‘The Great American Songbook‘ and the jazz-standards was thanks in large part to listening to my parents record collection when I was a kid. I fell in love with the music of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Harry James, Benny Goodman – and my personal favorite, Glenn Miller. I was inspired by the song styling and arrangements of, Sinatra, Bennett, Buble, Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughn, et al. Since 2010, I have embarked on this wonderful journey to sing this beautiful music to anyone who cares to listen.
“It is my wish that this great music be kept alive for a new generation who can truly appreciate the wealth of talent from those incredibly gifted songwriters from that era”
Additional booking notes
I'm pretty much a minimalist when it comes to staging. If I'm with musician's, all I can expect is a clean stage or room w/proper lighting. I can bring in my own personal sound system (if going solo), or if they offer their own house system, I would expect that to be in good working condition. I can bring in my own mics if necessary.
