Board Game Building Party

With board game building parties each kid gets to make their own board game, add art, and create the rules for it. Having the kids build their own game from start to finish is an incredible experience. For parties with 9 or less kiddos, we will supply 1 instructor to lead the party. For 10 or more we will need to supply an additional instructor to ensure the organized chaos stays organized. Over the course of 2 hours our instructor(s) will run through the basics of board game design. It's a fast paced and high energy output type of event. At the end of 2 hours the kids might want to continue adding art to their games or jump right into playing their games. Our minimum run time is 2 hours. Tough to teach a group of kids how to make a game and have them make their game any quicker than that. For additional cost, we can slow down the process as needed up to 4 hours. Any more time and the kids need a brain break.

Board game components are supplied through printplay, an on demand printer in the USA. Boards, boxes, cubes, dice, spinners, sand timers, punch board shapes, meeples, stands are the types of components that we will have available.

We do not have miniatures or the ability to custom cut punch board at the party. If given enough time (3+ weeks), we can charge an additional fee to order specific components for a party. An example is a themed dinosaur party. As an added cost we could purchase dinosaur themed components to bring the board game building dinosaur party to the next level.

Each attendee will get to build their own board game. If you wish to have attendees pair up or build a game in groups, please let us know as that will adjust the quote we supply.
