Marietta is a caricature artist from Kansas City, Missouri. She holds a bachelor’s in illustration summa cum laude with additional honors and has fifteen years of experience in creating art for people just like you! As a timid fifteen-year-old with aspiring hopes of drawing full time, she applied for a job as a caricature artist at a local theme park. That job saw her blossom into a career-oriented young adult who would eventually climb the corporate ladder. But that simply wasn’t enough! In February 2011, after seven years with Kaman’s Art Shoppes, Marietta left her job to freelance full time, giving her complete attention to those interested in a more direct connection with the work she produces.

While Marietta’s work prides likeness and accuracy, she’s also incredibly fast. Her quick wit with a marker creates a completed caricatured face on 11×17″ card stock in just two minutes and a half minutes! Because her professionalism, style and friendliness proceeds her, Marietta’s works have been sold to a worldwide audience, while local clients include the Kansas City Royals, PetCo, Price Chopper, Braden’s Hope and a multitude of universities and high schools in and around the Kansas City area. And that’s just to name a few! She also works with a variety of national, regional and local agencies, which allows her to draw across the country!
