Overview

I'm a freelance musician. I write and arrange my own music, but I also play blues harmonica. I've had 2 years of harmonica lessons with famous New Orleans artist Jason Ricci and I've got over 20 years of experience playing piano. I also play accordion.
To sample some of my own arrangements, just ask and I'll PM my SoundCloud info.

Absolutely fantastic!

Josh exceeded our expectations with his talent and kindness. He is a superb pianist and is able to adapt to whatever style you need. We would definitely hire him again.

Booking information

Price range: $40-100

Languages: English, German

Gig length: 20 - 60 minutes

What to expect

I typically introduce myself and the instrument, then begin playing acoustic harmonica.
Once folks get an understanding of that, I introduce the amp and pedal effects by playing along with various preselected blues backing tracks (mostly drums, bass, and guitar).
I introduce each song and continue playing through the setlist until complete.

About

- Gospel church pianist for 13 years
- Ambassador Quartet pianist (college)
- Gospel accordion player (church)
- Blues harmonica player with 2 years of lessons
- Member of John Ashford Band
- Active military member

Additional booking notes

I usually need a chair or stool and a power plug for my pedal board.

For piano, I need the venue to supply a fully functional piano or 88 key keyboard.
