Steve Kenley
Overview
Steve Kenley is a guitarist/singer performing in the Washington DC area. He is an accomplished professional musician with years of experience playing all over the United States. He plays for weddings, receptions, restaurants, house parties, retirement communities and corporate, governmental and community events. For weddings, Steve plays classical guitar arrangements of popular songs for the processional, recessional and other points in the ceremony.
For pop music performances, Steve uses a looper and vocal harmonizer to expand his sound, providing multi-part vocal harmonies and extra instrumental voices. He plays ukulele as well, if the occasion calls for a Hawaiian vibe.

Steve put on a wonderful performance for our important evening party. He took the time to meet with us several times before the event to learn about the attendees and figure out what songs would make most sense for him to perform. His performance was superlative!

Steve was simply amazing and added the most beautiful music for our ceremony and reception. I had very specific, personalized requests for our ceremony that he nailed perfectly. Steve captured the romantic, relaxing, and fun feel we were hoping for. Many of our guests complimented us on his talent and noted the elegant and class he added to our beautiful reception. 10 out of 10! Highly recommend!

August 4, 2024Awesome musician, brought the best vibe for a great party!
Steve played at our backyard summer bash and he was awesome! He played all fun, summer, beach country and rock and was such a hit. All our guests commented on how great he was and did a great job reading the crowd, playing the right songs and volume for the crowd. It started pouring halfway through and he quickly relocated to our porch and was able to calibrate his performance to the smaller, indoor venue and did a great job dialing it down so folks could enjoy the music but still talk! He was awesome and definitely the hit of the party!
