Beth the Bagpiper

For weddings and funerals, I will communicate with you prior to the event to best cater to your needs.
For informational performances, your audience will enjoy an assortment of music (marches, hornpipe, slow airs, piobaireachd), as well as learn about the bagpipes and about being a bagpiper.

Hi, I'm Beth Butts, and I'm a bagpiper performing across SE Massachusetts and parts of RI as Beth the Bagpiper. I am the Pipe Sergeant for Colum Cille Pipes and Drums. I have competed as a solo piper in Grade 4, regularly placing in the top 3. My goal is to share my joy of the bagpipes with everyone I play for.

I am available for birthdays, weddings and funerals, as well informative presentations where I give a little history and insight into the bagpipes and my journey, as well as play. I can play a range of traditional music and more contemporary music, depending on the event. If you want a drummer to join, my good friend Katie Zanello is available for gigs as well.
