Benjamin Stuchbery

Benjamin Stuchbery has been playing the flute since he was ten years old. Born in Montreal, he grew up in British Columbia where he studied flute under Kristine Miles (B. Mus. McGill) in Squamish, and Antonia Mahon in Penticton. Since moving to Montreal in 2013 Stuchbery has become involved with the music and arts committee at Christ Church Cathedral - currently serving as its chairperson - and more recently has become a member of the Jarry flute quartet, performing in venues around Montreal. Alongside his participation in the flute quartet, Stuchbery is also a member of the Cygnus Trio with Erica Jacobs-Perkins (Violin) and his brother, Jonathan Stuchbery (Classical Guitar).
