January 8, 2023Grisha is not only a masterful performer-- he also really knows how to connect with people and make a special time together. He came for an evening birthday party. He began by playing about 40- minutes of beautiful classical guitar. We have a number of professional musicians in our family. We chose him out of the other classical guitarists on this site because of his obvious musicianship. And we were very, very pleased.
We also really appreciated the way he introduced what he played, helping us to understand the various musical and ethnic traditions of each piece which created an even more meaningful experience for all of us.
It was only when we looked at his website that we discovered that Grisha is also a highly accomplished tango dancer. We asked him to bring a dance partner, and after the concert part of the evening, they put on a wonderful, brief demonstration of tango. The evening ended with them getting us all up for our first try at a bit of tango dancing. The culmination was Grisha giving the birthday girl (my wife) an ecstatic experience of being guided by a masterful dancer. (She definitely rose to the occasion to the cheers of all our friends.)
All in all, one of the most enjoyable evenings we can remember.

I was so surprised my daughter on her 30th birthday but she ended up finding out and asked him to just play the guitar at her party and she said that she was very excited and that everybody was so in awe of his guitar playing. He would call me to make sure that everything was set up he would call if anything was wrong or if anything needed to be provided. His contact was superb he's playing was amazing once I get the pictures I will definitely upload them and I'm so glad that I picked him for my daughter's party I feel that it was very special.
