September 25, 2024We put on our invitations that we might be late to our wedding party, and we were! Fortunately this awesome band was already set up and playing background music for our guests when we arrived. They were wonderful and we enjoyed their music! My husband is trying to figure out how to play one of their songs he can’t get out of his head. They stayed and ate with us, and we were really glad to have them part of our celebration. We would absolutely ask them to play for us again!

October 4, 2023We enjoyed Bear Creek String Bandits so much. We had a family reunion and had connected with the band with a list of favorites. They were so good and played all of our requested songs. They also played my 98 year old mothers favorite of which she jitter bugged to their songs. Everyone was so pleased!! They were kind and pleasant and even joined in our banquet as part of the family. Will ask them again in the future...

They were very communicative in advance of the show and knew exactly what we needed with regards to the venue, sound and set up. They did a terrific job playing at our reception for our professional organization meeting, and everybody loved it! And super nice folks as well!

Born of the vibrant mountain music scene of Appalachia, the String Bandits fuse sounds of bluegrass, country and old time with more contemporary festival jam grass, Grateful Dead and Gypsy jazz sounds.
Renewing our repertoire constantly thru jams, workshops and fiddle fests, we are bringing in original music alongside classic songs and unique interpretations of old ballads and stories. We aim to tailor our show to the audience interests and the environment in which we find ourselves, whether a smoky bar, a private party, festival stage or just around the campfire. We love sharing music and it shines thru in our performances. Thanks for listening!
We can provide quality, professional sound with set up included in our fee. We also have a lighting rig which would be an extra fee to bring and set up.
