Maddy and Clarke

Maddy Mullany and Clarke Williams are an old-time string duo based in Western North Carolina. Our specialty is old-time fiddle music from the region, but we also like to incorporate bluegrass and country harmony singing into our sets. As a duo we generally play some combination of fiddle, guitar and banjo, but we can also easily put together a full band with an upright bass for gigs. We love playing weddings, calling square dances, or just playing background music for events!
