Barrow Gang Buskers

The Barrow Gang occupies a fairly small footprint and brings minimal equipment. The band members will often interact, climb on each other and perform antics that keep everyone guessing. The show is high energy and usually gets most folks dancing, clapping and singing. It is impossible not to move when the Barrow Gang are playing.
Sets usually last 3-4 hours and with a break every hour.

Clyde Barrow (George Stryker) fronts the band with his guitar Bonnie. He was once known for the best pompadour in Ottawa and is a long-time Rockabilly singer/songwriting performer. He began his career over 15 years ago fronting several Rockabilly ensembles who opened for acts such as the Stray Cats, Meatloaf, Rosanne Cash to name a few. The remaining graffs and quipsters, AKA Blanche, Chuck, Buckles, Baby, Austin, Eddie and Scooter, are notable long-time musicians from all walks of life with a passion for energetic and entertaining fun.

The Barrow Gang was originally created as a busking band during COVID to bring music and joy back to the streets.

The group has enjoyed quite a bit of notoriety and has grown to play music festivals in the Ottawa Valley, fairs, markets and is the house band of the Atomic Rooster in downtown Ottawa where they have attracted a regular crowd that have become part of the family.

The Barrow Gang donates approx 10% of the money they make to a local charity every year.

The Barrow Gang supplies all of it's own equipment for lighting and sound, but will require some very detailed information in order to properly assess your needs. They do require protection from the elements for outdoor shows to protect valuable instruments.
