When I started as a waitress at 18 I never thought I would stay in the restaurant industry for the next 20+ years. I fell in love with it, and when I finally got behind the bar full time I knew I was home.
Bartending has taught me more than I ever thought it would. It also has brought me some of my closest friendships I’ve ever had.
B the Mixologist came to be after I thought I went into “retirement”. I had to take a step back from the full time bartending and restaurant life. It was consuming me, and becoming just a job. I started to stop loving what I did.
But, you can take the girl, out of any bar…but you can never take a true bartender out of the girl. I started doing events slowly for a company, and then got asked at an event for a business card.
Light bulb moment.
That night I went home, opened up the laptop and went to work. The name, a play on words and lettering. Not only is it a bartending service, but we also offer mixology or cocktail clinics. Let us be your mixologist, learn to be a mixologist.
