Allow me to take the worry out of your small or private event. I'm a Serve Safe Certified Bartender, with a strong knowledge of classic and exploratory cocktails. I've worked extensively in catering, food preparation, and event planning.
I also can be booked as waitstaff, or support staff for larger event. I offer setup and breakdown so that you can enjoy your event start to finish.

Very good job! The staff had to put together some of the food. They had no problems and were able to bar tend, keep the food flowing, and the AO clean all at the same time. They did it without any hassle as it appeared to me and our guests. I could mingle and not have to worry about the food getting out as well as drinks being served. They were great!

We hired Avante and her team to serve and tend bar at our wedding, and we cannot recommend her enough! We wanted to have a couple of signature cocktails for our guests, so Avante worked with us to create custom drinks according to our tastes. She even gave us the shopping list for the liquor and ingredients--very helpful for people like us who've never hosted a 100-person event before. On our wedding day, she brought six people with her, and they were all super cheerful and helpful the entire event. They arrived early enough to set up the tables, chairs, place settings, and bouquets, and they were quick to follow directions and suggest improvements. Throughout the night it seemed like they were always working: clearing away and cleaning plates, refreshing the buffet, and serving drinks. Avante was always aware of what her team was doing, and how to make sure everyone was on task. Even better, she found me and my husband throughout the night to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and had enough to eat and a drink in hand whenever we wanted it. Avante was very patient with me in creating a drink menu that was not only versatile but sophisticated. She also walked me through the shopping list and help with clean up of the venue. The guests at my fundraiser were generally very pleased with her work and delighted with her energy.
I had the pleasure of having Avante and her sister Nikita staff my Wedding of 85 people at my home. They executed bartending, serving, clean up, hospitality...anything and everything that you could think of FLAWLESSLY and were an absolute joy to work with. I have never seen two professionals with such self sufficiency and adaptability! Many of my guests were astounded by what these fun and highly professional ladies were able to do; they did the work of about 8 hardworking people... all with calmness, grace and execution. " My husband and I are going to Italy for our honeymoon, so Avante made a Sangria menu as a little homage to that (everyone loved it). This was in ADDITION to her regular cocktail menu, AND a full bar on top of that (everyone loved that too!). All of this while organizing, moving, cleaning an ungodly amount of food and drinks. And they still had time to give my guests individual attention at the tables. Suffice to say, my family was VERY impressed and enjoyed their company. I will always recommend anyone to use her services for any event. I know I'm writing a novel here, but I just wanted to give an example of Avante's ability to adapt to any situation and mind boggling self sufficiency: We literally had entire trays of food leftover, which is a problem when your days away from leaving for a long honeymoon. I actually had several concerned family members "what are you going to do with all this food before you leave?!?" I don't know how they did it, but Avante and her sister stocked my fridge with EXACTLY how much food I would need and made the rest of it disappear! OK, I do know how she did it, many of my guests happily left with doggie bags, but the point is I never even expected her to take care of that for me! It was like she got in my head and did what I would have done if I wasn't busy talking to 85 guests all day. She even put some leftover onions in the freezer for me to have on hand for cooking meals when I get home! As you can see, I can't say enough with how impressed I was with Avante, and you will be too!!!
Avante provided great service for a private dinner party held in my home. She was organized, polite, and anticipated all of our needs. I highly recommend her!
I hired Avante to help with my husbands 40th birthday party held at my home. She was so helpful in creating a theme for the dinner (italian garden party) and planning out the dinner. We had a huge menu and she did a lot of the last minute cooking- everything was delicious! And she cleaned up afterwards! Couldn't be happier with her! I will definitely think of her when looking for help for my next party!
Four days prior to our party, our event staffing fell through. I found Gigsalad online and decided to register. It was a great decision. The minute I had completed the registration, I received a phone call from Avante. We had a wonderful conversation and I hired her there and then. Avante was a pleasure to work with. She was prompt, courteous and very professional. We needed a second server, so Avante's mother accompanied her to help out. Both Avante and her mom did a great job. The drinks were amazing. Every one of our guests complimented us on our choice of bartender. But Avante is much more than a bartender. She helped get dinner on the table, served our guests and cleaned up. Whenever I tried to enter the kitchen, Avante and her mother politely suggested I enjoy the party and leave the work to them. They made my birthday wonderful. I cannot thank them enough!
Avante was a great asset for a wedding reception of 50 people in a large suite. She is very professional and courteous. She over stayed her time to keep serving and for the clean up. I would highly recommend her for any job without hesitation.
She was the best bartender ever. I had a really big party and she served all my friends and got us really drunk and everyone at the party loved their drinks. Her customer service is great, she goes above and beyond. she even does things that weren't asked of her. She took the initiative to clean, wipe down everything, and help me. I also just hired her again for our Graduation Party. Lovely young lady.
Avante not only made my party by helping me plan in just a few days, but also with her mere presence and expertise. Avante insisted on having a phone conversation first and foremost in order to really understand all of my wants and needs. From there she made a cocktail menu specific to our party and occasion. After making us a bar menu, she helped make an appetizer menu. She even went as far as to make our shopping lists, as well as went shopping with us. She prepared a couple of homemade syrups, and helped with all of our food and cocktail preperations. I absolutely loved and enjoyed every minute working with Avante, and would absolutely call her for any other cocktail wants or needs. ;)
Avante did a terrific job for us this past weekend. We have a yearly house party that has 100+ people. It is very caotic and crazy, and Avante and her team did a excellent job stepping up to the challenge. From food prep, to food service, to bartending, to set-up, to clean-up, every step she was thorough, thoughtful and professional. She has a wide knowledge of hospitality industry and culinary. She also is good at repeating your requests back to you so that there is no mis-communication during the event; an excellent skill. I would highly recommend her!
Avante and her team arrived on time and took charge of things. They accommodated all of our requests without difficulty and made very helpful suggestions. The food was prepared wonderfully and all my guests were delighted with the food and the service. As the hosts we were very comfortable and they did a great job of cleaning up at the end. My bartender did a no show and Avante stepped in at the last minute like a pro and wowed the host and guest, great job, would definitely use again.
Price Range: $160 and Up
What to Expect
My bartending rate is a service only package starting $160 for 4 hours, and $25 each additional hour per Bartender. As your bartender I will arrive 30 minute prior to event start time set up, this a complementary courtesy I provide to all of my clients. As your bartender I will engage with your guest making their experience memorable and wonderful. When I'm not busy shaking up cocktails, I make myself useful by clearing debris from tables, collecting used drinkware, and refreshing drinks. Set up and break down is included with all services booked.

Waitstaff is event maintenance, guest satisfaction, passing hor derves, decoration set up, and break down. Waitstaff doesn't include cooking, however it includes cold food assembly, and platter set up. As your helpers, we're willing to do about anything so you won't have to, from washing dishes, packing up food, to taking care of the trash from the event. We make so that you can wake up the next day knowing that you don't have to worry about. Waitstaff is $25 hour per server. Price adjustments can be arranged when more than three servers are booked, and the booking time is six or more hours.
