Ava Hoffman

What I offer changes depending on the venue, set list, and what is required. Generally, you can expect me with my guitar and/or piano, playing well polished and fun songs with the audience. The songs specifically are a blend of upbeat, popular songs, and some slower intimate songs. In addition, some handwritten originals are played as well. I like to be conversational and be inclusive with the audience as well to ensure everyone is having a good time!

As a kid, I grew up in a very musical family and setting. Being raised in that environment always lead me to have a great interest in music. I started singing as soon as I could talk and never stopped learning and growing. To this day I'm expanding on better techniques, art styles, and exercises to always be improving.
My mother could always play the guitar, when she taught my sister how to play a few chords, I knew I could learn just as well. So I self taught myself (with the help of my mother,) guitar at 8 years old. Quickly there after, I taught myself ukulele and took piano lessons.
At 14 I performed my first booked show. Performing and entertaining people with music is my favorite job, and as time goes on, I continue to love it more and more. My style, setlist, and audiences are ever changing, but the same goal always remains, to make people happy and enjoy what they listen to. It is my hope that as a musician I can continue to accomplish that goal. I appreciate every opportunity I receive as a growing artist and look forward to exceeding your expectations of what I can do.

The equipment I bring to my events are: 1 premium wide spread speaker, speaker stand, guitar stand, Taylor guitar, microphone stand, microphone, korg keyboard, premium sound mixer, and corresponding chords.
This set up has worked very well for me and for the venues I play at. If a wider range of sound is needed for a bigger venue, this can be included as well.
