My name is Arend Aldama and I am a pianist based in Sacramento, California. I hold a master's degree in piano performance at California State University – Sacramento. I have over 20 years of experience in piano performance of classical, and have given recitals at CSUS, have played with the ARC orchestra 3 times both as a student, and have played at Christmas parties, weddings, church services, and dance classes. I desire to become a traveling solo concert pianist either domestically or internationally. DISCLAIMER: I need to be provided with sheet music in order to play gigs. Though I do perform simpler jazz from lead sheets, I am NOT specifically a jazz pianist who can play by ear!

Comments from guests ranged from “Their Sound was Awesome !” to “You had me close to tears, it was so beautiful” …Planning weddings or any special event has SO many choices, so many decisions to make but one you won’t regret is seeing if Arend is available.

Born and raised in Sacramento, California, Arend Aldama is a classically trained pianist who holds a bachelor’s degree in piano performance from California State University, Sacramento (CSUS). He began playing piano at the age of seven. Aldama has performed and accompanied as a professional pianist around the Sacramento region. During his years at American River College (ARC), where he earned his associate degree in music, he auditioned for the Concerto-Aria competition and was chosen three times. He performed the Grieg “Piano Concerto in A minor” and Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” with the ARC orchestra.
Aldama is proficient in performing many different styles of music ranging from baroque, classical, and romantic to jazz, blues, ragtime, and rock. He also has a well-rounded appreciation for a variety of classical repertoire.
