Replete with wardrobe changes, Aquarius re-creates dozens of well-known songs with full rock instrumentation (two guitars, bass, keyboards and drums) and rich vocal harmonies. The band's repertoire includes classics from the great artists of the era including those by The Mamas & the Papas, Roy Orbison, The Moody Blues, The Guess Who and Ike & Tina Turner, and offers up charismatic performances in the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Grace Slick, Sly Stone, John Fogerty, Joe Cocker, Country Joe and John Kay of Steppenwolf.
Great band, great sound, highly professional and reasonably priced. Very, very happy with their performance. Costumes were also great!

Aquarius - a fun, high-energy, family-friendly, rock tribute to the icons of the '60's - is perfect for your event, whatever the occasion! Party and dance to the sights and sounds of the 60's and early 70's, as Aquarius brings alive immortalized iconic rock stars of the Summer of Love movement and Woodstock, performing as: Janis Joplin, Grace Slick, Sly Stone, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Cocker, John Fogerty, Country Joe (and the Fish) and characters Stoney Coughalot and Hippie Dude. Aquarius vocals are all live (no backtracking ) and travels as a six-piece, but alternatively adds horns (trumpet and sax) upon request.
The band has performed for countless events, past clients including 60's/70's themed parties, corporate event planners, festivals, city summer concert series', weddings, casinos, performing arts centers, and even as Aquarius unplugged for a local library (which was intimate and very much fun)! This past year, the band traveled to Kentucky to help raise funds and awareness for World Hunger Relief via the YUM Corporation and to San Francisco, where a client transformed her entire property into a re-creation of Woodstock, replete with a hippy protest and a live cow! Aquarius was also honored this year be selected by the world famous Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, to open for the world return of legendary 60's band, the Strawberry Alarm Clock (Think "Incense & Peppermints)!
