About
Nationally renowned Jazz/Pop/Bossa vocalist
Anne Walsh's authentic style of singing is neither purely jazz or purely pop but rather a fusion of the two. While she is classically trained and has a resume spanning from various operatic soubrette roles to classic musical theatre principal roles in equity houses from east to west coast, the jazz genre kept beckoning her thus creating a sound and style that is exclusively hers.
She, along with her Grammy nominated arranger and pianist Tom Zink, tour the U.S., Europe and Brazil, performing Standards, Contemporary Jazz and Bossa Nova influenced music. In the Southern California area, they can be heard at venues such as Vibrato in Beverly Hills and Spaghettini in Seal Beach, Laguna Beach Festival of the Arts and in the LACMA Jazz Series.
