Angela Mackey, Speaker, MC

Angela is passionate about helping others experience God through His Word. The depth of her biblical knowledge partnered with her transparency of honest challenges helps her audiences connect with her and the Lord. Her joy in the Lord helps audiences not only laugh, but also walk away in awe of what God does in the lives of His children.
Angela has experience with audiences of all ages from Vacation Bible School stages to senior adults. Whether you are looking for a single keynote talk, a weekend long retreat, or a workshop, your people will walk away with tools to know God better, walk with Him closer, and live to honor God with their whole lives.

Angela helps people experience God through His Word so that ordinary days, dark seasons, and everything in between are transformed by Jesus. She earned a master's degree in biblical and theological studies, is an AWSA member, and a Maxwell-certified speaker and trainer. As a registered nurse with a passion for faith-based communication, Angela combines her clinical expertise with theological depth to address life's most difficult seasons with sensitivity and humor.

As a writer, Angela has contributed to "Still Speaking: Encountering the Living Word of God," "Overwhelmed: 31 Devotions for Moms," and "God with Us, Immanuel — An Advent Devotional." She also wrote a book to encourage women dealing with infertility titled, "Difficult to Conceive: A Godly Perspective for the Road Ahead."

Angela is also the host of "Life as Worship" a podcast that explores what scriptures mean and how we can live them out so that we honor God with all of our lives.

She lives in the Arkansas River Valley with her husband. They have three adult children (two born through IVF treatments) and three dogs. She is an avid reader, passionate about the University of Kansas Jayhawks basketball and Kansas City Chiefs football and dedicated to helping others live transformed lives through faith-centered content. Angela prefers the ability to use slides, a microphone (over the ear is preferred, but not required), and some sort of table or podium. However she can project well and has often had to switch to using the power of her voice and lungs when technical difficulties arise.
