Overview

Surf Western from Atlanta, GA. We sound like Doc Watson and the Cramps had a lovechild. Andrea on guitar, saw, vocals, and other hand tools. Mud on guitar and vocals. We have a drummer and an electric or upright bassist, but we also perform just as a duo.

Stellar evening!

Andrea & Mud were awesome—music was wonderful, they were fun and engaging. Leading up to it they were very communicative and accommodated our requests 100%.

However, they’re so good (and already tour the country extensively) I suspect they’ll be stars soon and will be too busy playing The Ryman to play private events!

What to expect

Andrea & Mud is an exhilarating band to see live! We pepper our high energy performances with dark, moody ballads and the best classic cover songs. People love us and always come back for more. Mostly because Andrea’s feisty personality is only rivaled by her strong, wraspy voice and Mud’s tremololicious guitar sounds and vintage tone.

About

The King and Queen of the Hillbilly Underground from North Georgia

Andrea and Mud sound like a panther screaming in the middle of the night, like a band of gypsies at a tea party, like a carefully curated hullabaloo held in a Wild West funeral home. Like Doc Watson and the Cramps had a love child while watching a Tarantino movie.

Just as much influenced by Willie Nelson, Tom Waits, and Hank Williams Sr. as new Country acts such as Colter Wall and the Deslondes, Andrea & Mud keep somewhat of a traditional country and blues feel all while giving it their own haunting, part Piedmont, part psychobilly spin. Part Flat Duo Jets, part Bonnie and Clyde, this is not a performance that you will want to miss.
