Americano Social Club

We play music for "la dolce vita": a mix of romantic and eclectic melodies from all over the world.

At our performances you might hear Pop, Jazz or Folk, Classical, Rock, or Opera, the music of Brazil or of Europe's cafs, (not to mention some of our own dramatic original pieces); and all of it re-imagined so you will hear the melodies you love (or didn’t know you loved) like new again.

We are experienced professionals and before the engagement you can expect prompt and friendly communication, clear service agreements based on agreed upon details, on time band arrival and departure and quick and non invasive set up and take down of equipment. As experienced professionals we are adaptable as situations change and will always do our best to accommodate you.

Whether as background music or featured performance your audience and/or guests should expect a unique and delightful musical experience always appropriate to the setting. Our music is both interesting enough to engage listeners and light enough to serve as a soundtrack for your guests interactions. Our group sound is always transparent so guests can have a normal conversation right in front of the band and hear each other clearly. Since our music is both "new" and "familiar" we will reach the audiences that have "heard it all before" and make sure they remember your special event.

The Americano Social Club is led by Michael Zisman on mandolin/vocals and features guitarist/vocalist Jason Vanderford and bassist Joe Kyle Jr. We play music for "la dolce vita": a mix of romantic and eclectic melodies from all over the world.

We've played events both big and small including parties for President Clinton, Gen Colin Powell, and Anne Hathaway's wedding, and we love to and create a fun atmosphere for people to relax and celebrate in. Our music is both interesting enough to engage listeners and light enough to serve as a soundtrack for your guests interactions. Our group sound is always transparent so guests can have a normal conversation right in front of the band and hear each other clearly. Since our music is both "new" and "familiar" we will reach the audiences that have "heard it all before" and make sure they remember your special event.

While we don't show a lot of "bookings" in our profile on this site we have booked many events here. This website is a great "first point of contact" for us, but it is often easier to proceed with email and phone contact.
