Steady Eddy and the Shakers

We hired Steady Eddy as our wedding band and they absolutely delivered. From the first song to the last, the dance floor was packed and I mean packed the whole night. Not a single lull, not a single awkward moment where guests drifted back to their seats. They just kept the energy going in a way that felt effortless.
What sets them apart is how well they read the room. They moved between genres and tempos seamlessly, keeping a multigenerational crowd happy and on their feet all night. The vocals were incredible, the musicianship was tight, and they clearly love what they do it showed in every song.
Our wedding was at Rancho Nicasio and the setting is already magical, but Steady Eddy took the reception to another level entirely. Multiple guests told us it was the best wedding band they'd ever seen, and we couldn't agree more.
If you're on the fence about whether to book a live band vs. a DJ, this is your sign. And if you're going with a band, book Steady Eddy. You will not regret it.

I cannot express how amazing the band was. They absolutely killed it! I’ve gotten to see Steady Eddy and the Shakers at a few other events in the past couple years and was so excited to finally get to hire them for my mom’s 75th birthday party!

They’re incredibly talented and such a lively band. They put together a lovely rendition of a song that is very special to my family and of course did all the greatest hits and some amazing, creative mashups.

All of our guests, old and young (even the caterers and my nearby neighbors) were gushing about how incredible they are. They added so much fun and joy to an incredibly memorable day!

We booked Steady Eddy for our wedding on 2/28/26. From the beginning, communication went fairly well, but I want to say I am especially grateful for how flexible they were. We handpicked songs from their list, and were able to request a few songs-which they nailed! Our guests had fun on the dance floor, and I had a blast listening to our favorite hits.
