I perform as a solo act, singing and playing acoustic guitar. I can adapt to a wide range of performance environments — from intimate private events to larger stages. Below are my typical technical requirements, which may vary slightly depending on the venue and type of event.
General setup:
Solo performance: vocals and acoustic guitar
I can provide my own instruments and basic equipment if needed (see below)
🔊 Sound Requirements:
Option 1: Venue provides sound
- 1 vocal mic with boom stand
- 1 DI box or ¼” input for acoustic guitar (or 2nd mic if mic’d)
- On-stage monitor (preferred but not required)
- Basic front-of-house PA system suited to the size of the space
Option 2: I provide sound (For an additional $100-$150 fee)
- I can bring a compact PA system, ideal for small-to-medium-sized indoor/outdoor events (up to approx. 100 guests)
- Includes vocal mic, mixer, speaker(s), and guitar input
- Access to power outlet required (standard 110V)
Staging:
Small, flat performance space or stage area (approx. 6’ x 6’ or larger)
Chair or stool available if possible
Covered/shaded area for outdoor performances (especially for direct sun or rain protection)
Additional Notes:
I arrive 45–60 minutes prior for setup and soundcheck, and 2 hrs prior if I am providing the PA
I am punctual, professional, and flexible with timing/logistics
