All Events Jazz

Itchy Feet plays an exciting, insightful and eclectic mix of straightahead jazz and hard-driving
swing. Formed in 2009, the band is a nonet with six horns, keys, bass and drums. The band members are
among Greater Boston's busiest musicians, arrangers, and educators.

The Baystate Jazz Quintet prides itself on making your evening fun and memorable by playing the
perfect music selections for your occasion. Whether it is a private party, wedding reception, special
event or corporate function, the Baystate Jazz Quintet is able to play anything from soft jazz for
background music to Bop, Latin, and Swing. This band is made up of talented professional musicians
who have played in some of the top bands in New England and beyond. BJQ will help you make your

Trombones are front and center in the unique jazz group, 2Slick. Wayne Branco and Steve Piermarini know a bit about playing the trombone. With a combined 100 years of study, practicing and performing between them, they’ve played in groups backing up artists from Bob Hope to the New Kids on the Block, at venues from the Blue Note in Osaka, Japan, to Carnegie Hall. Now they have stepped into the spotlight as
co-leaders when their group, 2Slick. They are joined by a talented rhythm section of piano, bass and drums. This band has been wowing audiences throughout the Boston area since it's inception in 2019.

The Dixie Swing Project melds the best Dixieland tunes with golden big band classics from the swing era. The band has a horn section featuring clarinet, alto and tenor saxes, trumpet and trombone. Combined with piano, bass and drums, these talented musicians entertain audiences of all ages and delight crowds at events of all sizes. We play well-known Dixieland tunes such as "Basin Street Blues." "When the Saints Go Marching In" and the New Orleans standard "Muskrat Ramble," as well as big band classics like "In The Mood," "Take The A Train" and "Stompin' At The Savoy." We think of ourselves as "everyone's jazz band," meaning we play tunes that are familiar to most people. We keep the energy up with bright, cheerful tunes, perfect for any party or celebration!
