Local guitarist Devon Kurzweil has been performing for over 30 years. He is a talented player that commands many styles of music; his guitar style is reminiscent of George Benson, Mike Stern and John Scofield. Complementing the group on bass, Eli Addleman brings solid, creative rhythms to each track, neatly filling in the spaces. He brings an attentive ear to the compositions, knowing when to play just the right amount. Rounding out the trio on drums, Jeremy Anderson, a veteran drummer from the Minneapolis scene adds atomic clock meter and artistic, colorful beats to the equation. The algorithm is complete.
With the over abundance of watercolor jazz that has seemed to infiltrate today’s music scene, Algorhythm Trio add both freshness and intensity to today’s musical landscape.
