I put together bands to meet the needs of the event. As such, I can meet many different needs.
Need soft background music for an upscale event? I can provide solo piano music to create just the right atmosphere.
Need something with a little more energy? How about a jazz piano trio with drum and bass accompaniment to liven up the mood.
Want to put on a show and get people dancing? How about a 6 piece funk band playing modern hits from Michael Jackson and D'Angelo?
That's the great thing about jazz musicians - we are so flexible!
- I've devoted so much of my life to playing music that I even got a doctorate in jazz piano!
- I'm a native Angeleno, but I've lived all over the state, and even in Texas for the DMA.
- My musicians and I are so talented we can play loads of styles: mostly jazz but also funk, salsa, soul. (Also lo-fi, pop, country, and bluegrass if you ask nicely enough 😊)
Unless you happen to have an acoustic piano on site already, the only thing I need is electricity to power my keyboard and amp(s).

The truth is, we can play too many tunes to list here. That's the thing about jazz musicians: we can play ~aaaanything~ (almost). If it's a jazz song, we probably know it. Other material we can learn quickly.
