Overview

Adrian Wulff and the Recliners play a mix of 70s, 80s, and 90s country, bluegrass, and western swing. We pride ourselves on playing great music, putting on a good show, and being professional. We've been playing in bars, country fairs, moose lodges, weddings, and truck stops across the Northwest and we'd love to play at your event.

What to expect

We are a well dressed country western band that shows up on time, entertains the crowd, plays good music and likes to have fun. We have a ton of experience doing this. Every event has different requirements and we're pretty flexible. We don't play too loud and we like to see people having a good time. We're generally good-looking, if a little frayed around the edges.

About

We have all played in different country bands in the area for the last 15-20 years and we enjoy what we do. It's a classic country sound with enough tattoos and facial hair to keep it interesting. We like playing real honky-tonk music for swing dancers, waltzers, and people who shuffle around with a beverage in their hand. We're not at grizzled as Willie or Johnny Cash or a clean cut at George Strait but we're probably exactly what you're looking for if you want an authentic country band for your event or venue.

Additional booking notes

We prefer sound and lights to be provided but we also bring our own gear if needed.

Set list

Here's a few of the songs we like to do-

Amarillo By Morning (George Strait)
Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way (Waylon Jennings)
Oh, Lonesome Me (Kentucky Headhunters)
Blue Eyes Crying In the Rain (Willie Nelson)
Forever, And Ever Amen (Randy Travis)
Big City (Merle Haggard)
Queen of Hearts (Rodney Crowell)
Johnny B. Goode (Chuck Berry)
Lodi (CCR)
Much Too Young (Garth Brooks)
Ring of Fire (Johnny Cash)
I Never Go Around Mirrors (Keith Whitley)

Influences and inspiration

Here are some of the musicians we like/cover/sound like: Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Randy Travis, Waylon Jennings, Chuck Berry, George Strait, CCR, The Kentucky Headhunters, Dwight Yoakam, and Johnny Cash. With a dash of Elvis and Bill Monroe for good measure.
