Let me start by saying I found and hired Abbott Events weeks before our ceremony.
Erin and staff went above and beyond our expectations.
Our decor was done with love and perfection.
The bartenders were very upbeat and friendly. Our guest loved them.

Chef Jon and his staff were an absolute pleasure to work with. They helped set up and clean up the party. My guests truly enjoyed having them.

Due to covid our guest count was reduced. Which made me a bit sad. Erin and Pat went about and beyond to make our day special.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
1. They have you pay through Venmo instead of through gigsalad which means it is not protected. I have been trying to get a refund for a month now and she is saying it is processing. She claims that she can not see the amount the refund is for in venmo. I have proof that it is not in our account and she still isn’t trying to solve the problem.
2. She ignores my phone calls. I have called multiple times trying to get the refund for the missing waitstaff and she never picks up even when I call during the days she isn’t at a wedding. But she answered my husbands phone straight away.
We hired 5 waitstaff and 2 bartenders to lower the risk of Covid. 3 bartenders and 1 waiter showed up LATE and when asked to do waitstaffing they all said they were hired for barbacking. I am lucky that no one caught Covid because of this and we ended up having most of the food go to waste because we didn’t have enough waitstaff to make spreads.
After this terrible experience and dealing with a rude woman on the phone who has cussed at both me and my mother many times I can say that this is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. She has lied to me on the phone saying the money was in my account and that “she spoke to my mother the other day who confirmed it was in the account” when it is me who has been dealing with her this whole time after our first call. And I know it is not in my account because we have not seen any refunds.
Please use another company and make sure to pay through gigsalad. I am urging anyone reading this to veer away from this company.

The local "bartender" sent to our party was a very nice person but was not an experienced bartender! We had to set up the bar due to her being late (weather related) as we already had guests before she arrived- then she left without doing any breakdown or clean up. On inspection the next am, we found cream and juices left in melted ice chests, overflowing trash cans and a general abandonment. She told folks it was her first time and unfortunately it appeared to be true. While very accommodating and engaging, we used a service to find someone qualified as opposed to someone nice. Please do more vetting of your contracted staff.

However Julie has bartended for 17 years. This was her first private event as she is usually scheduled for our corporate events.
Due to the ice storm in your area Saturday we were short staff. Driving on ice isn't safe but we understand our clients needs.
I (Erin) informed you Julie was running. behind. (7 minutes) to be exact. I also informed Julie stay over to accomdate the time. Which She stayed a additional 30 minutes over.
Staff checks out onsite prior to leaving with a photo and time. I can provide you with a exit photo of the bar. I'm also aware once Julie departed your guest continued to mix cocktails. I'm sure this is where the mess took place.
Wow! You all really out did yourselves. Our staff loves the casino decor and events.
These guys did an amazing job with my birthday party. The food was great and flavorful. The drinks were mixed just right. The price was reasonable, they did a very good job. I will definitely be using them for any event in the future. Thank you guys so much!!!
