We were so delighted to have Ms. Lola be our guest speaker for our Annual Grandparent's Celebration event. We have loved having her book, "The Butterfly & The Bully" on our summer reading list, so it only fit that she would be asked to speak for us. Ms. Lola was engaging from the start to finish and her presentation was well received. She was able to have our caregivers share their affirmations as well provide them with new tips on self-reflection.

I worked with Lola over the course of several months and she really is a gem. When I began working with her I felt overwhelmed in my personal life and with my professional life. She was able to help me get clarity on it all. Everyone talks about perseverance and how you have to keep going even through obstacles, but she taught me HOW to overcome them, and gave me tools I can implement in my life daily. In every since session I had with her, she was able to identify some things I can work on and support me at the same time. I hired A Griot's Corner as a business motivational speaker and I have to say that her story is most definitely motivational and inspiring. She gave accounts about feeling like she failed at her business various times. She also gave accounts on times where she wanted to quit, however she kept going back to the drawing board. She persevered and was able to publish a successful book as well as her business A Griot's Corner. She gave various tips as well as useful advice for what others can do to jump start their businesses.
