A human statue performer or ”living mannequin“ is a highly trained entertainer who uses stillness, body control, and elaborate costuming or body paint to create the illusion of being an inanimate statue or figurine. The performance art lies in the contrast between their lifelike appearance and the subtle, unexpected moments of movement that surprise and delight passersby.
The cost to book a human statue performer varies based on factors such as the performer’s experience, the complexity of their costume or body paint, your event location, and the duration of the appearance. Performances requiring extensive preparation, such as full-body paint application, may reflect that in the overall cost.
Human statue performers come in a wide range of characters, themes, and styles. Common portrayals include classical marble or bronze statues, silver and gold metallic figures, fantasy and mythological characters, historical figures, robots, and custom-themed characters designed to align with a specific event or brand. Some performers incorporate elaborate costumes and props, while others rely primarily on body paint and precise physical control.
Human statue performers work well across a wide range of events and settings. They’re a popular choice for grand openings, corporate events, trade shows, festivals and fairs, themed private parties, New Year’s Eve events, and upscale social gatherings. They function equally well as roaming entertainment, stationed focal points, or branded experiential elements for marketing activations.

Whether stationed as a striking focal point at a corporate event or roaming through a festival crowd, a skilled human statue performer draws attention, sparks curiosity, and creates candid moments with guests.
The cost to hire a human statue performer depends on their experience, the complexity of their costume or body paint, the event location, and the duration of the appearance. Browse the performers listed above and reach out directly for quotes tailored to your event’s format and needs.
As you explore your options, review performer profiles closely and pay particular attention to photos and videos. Look for performers whose character style and aesthetic align with your event’s tone, and read through guest reviews for feedback on their professionalism, preparation time, and ability to engage audiences.
