Setup would need to happen prior to the service, so maybe around 1 pm? Service may start at 2 or 3 — not yet decided.

I’m a friend of the family and will not be making the final decision. The family’s father died suddenly. He had expressed interest at some point in having a Celebration of his life with a bar and a live jazz band. He was instrumental in helping to achieve funding for the new visitor center at the Kelley Farm and that is where the service and appetizer/cocktail time will be held. I’m guessing a bit on starting time and length of time. Supper will not be served. Service will start at 2 or 3 in adjacent combined rooms and jazz period with cocktails and appetizers, perhaps in large lobby area, to follow. The lobby area has a lot of plate glass and concrete so will impact acoustics. There is no piano on site. There are some wireless microphones, but much of that will be first used in the service. I think there will need to be some sensitivity to the somber aspects of the event with a segue into the joyous celebration of this beloved man and all his many contributions. Regardless of who is ultimately chosen, I was impressed by your video and music and wish you well.
