She has been compared to a wide variety of entertainers including Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Chaka Khan, Etta James, Tina Turner, Nina Simone, Sarah Vaughan, Phyllis Hyman, Patti LaBelle, Teena Marie, Adele, Billie Holiday and others.
She is a big fan of a huge variety of music from big band to alternative, pop, rock, jazz, hip hop, R & B, Soul, folk, country, classical, gospel, musical theatre, new age, to name a few. She is also a forever fan of the "oldies" and classics. These influences provide a unique blend and a wide variety of style to the music she performs and writes. 2012 marked the debut of Mama Told Me Not To Come (COVER) which is the first official release for illy.
illy was named ARZUK Artist of the Week for the week of Feb 25, 2013. She released the original tune, Friend of Mine in the summer of 2013.
Most recently, illy teamed up with Booberken Productions to add lyrics, vocals and back up to Reminiscing You.
Her CD release is schedule for July/August 2014.

Highly influenced by Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Tina Turner, Mariah Carey, Earth, Wind and Fire, The Doobie Brothers, Chicago, Abba, Ambrosia, Kool and the Gang, Stevie Nicks, Bonnie Raitt, Diana Ross and the Supremes, Teena Marie...the list goes on and on. A forever fan of the oldies and big fan of many different genres of music, makes 321 illy very versatile in musical stylings and what the group is able to present.
