During his 35 –year- career as a musician and entertainer, Marion Deaton has entertained audiences all over North America and appeared with two generations of rock and country greats including Roy Orbison, Bonnie Bramlett and Percy Sledge. In the last few years his focus has been on appearing with his versatile, funky ‘Smooth Willie Show Band’ in a tribute to Willie Nelson.

Marion is one of those fortunate few look-alikes who not only has the look ‘dead on’ but also has the voice ‘dead on.’ His laid back demeanor makes him a natural Willie. (It’s been rumored that Marion’s Father and Willie’s Mom knew each other way back when.)
