Violin & Guitar Duo

Why book Violin & Guitar Duo?

We are a husband & wife Violin/Guitar duo available for almost any occasion. We have performed together in projects for 10 years both locally and internationally, including performing and recording in our current bands Paundy and Before Cars. Justine comes from a Classical background and Paul comes from a Rock background. We met somewhere in the middle and came up with something we could do together. Our repertoire includes a variety of different musical styles including Classical, Gypsy Jazz, Celtic, Standards, Contemporary and Rock. We take requests! Just give us enough time to work them out. We look forward to working with you to create the perfect musical ambience for your event.

simply awesome!

I will start with that I am a wedding planner with over 40 weddings each year and my new husband the same, so you can imagine our expectations were high: we were not let down but thrilled and delighted.
The music was inspired and fit our wedding perfectly. We received so many compliments from guests.
The communication beforehand was quick concise and friendly.
They even took the time to learn a couple of songs for us that made the ceremony feel so personal.
I could not recommend a better duo or other instrumental ensemble that even compares to the service and art provided.
Thank you for providing an atmosphere that added to our perfect day!!!

A great choice!

I hired Justine and Paul to play at my daughter's wedding and reception last month. They were easy to work with and followed up promptly on communications. On the day of the wedding they arrived on time. Most importantly, the music was lovely. Paul and Justine were very personable. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them for another event!

Talented, Professional and Friendly

Justine and Paul exceeded all expectations on our wedding day and really helped set the atmosphere. Prior to the wedding day, they helped provide us with suggestions to play before, during, and after the ceremony. They were professional and punctual. At the wedding, they played as guests were arriving, at the ceremony, and also during our cocktail hour. We were lucky to find such talented musicians to be a part of our wedding day. Not only are they gifted, but they are friendly and it is easy to tell how much they truly love what they do.

What a delightful couple! All interactions leading up to and including the date of the wedding were pleasant and positive. Music was played in the church as guests were arriving, and then continued at the reception. We took the opportunity to meet with them several months in advance of the wedding and they played various pieces for us. We would definately hire them again!

Paul and Justine were easy to contact, available, super flexible about the songs I wanted to have played, and even learned them in a short period of time, playing the unique guitar/violin duet renditions of the obscure songs we requested at our wedding. They went with the flow of the evening, and even offered to provide background music for the reception. They are an easy going couple that loves to play music passionately and seriously, and the sincerity of their performance demonstrates they actually care about being at your event and making sure it is a night to remember.
