Undertoe Dance Project

About

Founded in 2008, Undertoe has been performing and teaching in the tri-state area. Whether it is an intimate gathering or a full concert performance, cabaret style show or birthday party, Undertoe is a hit with audiences of all ages. We also run our signature tap dance event Tappy Hour where we teach tap lessons in area bars.

If you are looking for a dance lesson at your event, one of our fantastic tap or jazz dancers will attend your event, teach you some basic moves, and then put it all together in a fun routine.

We can also performance at your event. A soloist can perform or we can send a small group, depending on your budget, venue, and event scope.

We can also do a little of both. :)

The company has performed in prestigious New York City dance festivals including the Downtown Dance Festival, Fridays at Noon at the 92nd Street Y, Choreographer's Canvas, FIGMENT, Tap Extravaganza and QAS at Webster Hall. Undertoe produces two full length dance concerts in New York City annually – our New York Season and the Undertoe Dance Festival. . Regionally the company has performed at the Silk City Arts Festival (Paterson, NJ) and West Coast Swing/Hustle/Salsa Festival (Stamford, CT) and held artistic residencies at Camp Ballibay for the Fine and Performing Arts (Camptown, PA), Fairfax Academy Dance Program (Fairfax, VA), Douglas Anderson School of the Arts (Jacksonville, FL), Crabapple Middle School (Roswell, GA) and Northside Catholic Academy (Brooklyn, NY).
