About

Tom Conner has been playing guitar practically all his life. Having played in all types and styles from early rock and roll, country, jazz and on to the classics, he still is learning and growing and exploring new things. He came late to composing but finds that to be the most rewarding pursuit of all. He has about
25 copyright pieces to his credit. It is hard to define his greatest influences but certainly among them are the great Chet Atkins, Les Paul, Julian Bream, jazz guitarists Johnny Smith and Wes Montgomery.
He has released acoustic guitar CDs, “Guitar...My Way”, “All My Guitars”, “A Classic Concert”, and “Christmas at Our House”
which contain a range of solo and small ensemble performances in all styles. The CD “Finger Picking Favorites” was released in 2009 and includes performances on acoustic, electric and classic guitars. He has studied the classics for solo nylon string guitar and has released a CD, “That's a Classic”, which covers a large part of that endeavor. He has also released a duet CD with champion dulcimerist Jan Hammond called “Deep Sky”. Tom regularly performs solo finger style guitar throughout the year in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Phoenix, Arizona doing concerts, weddings , festivals and parties. He has appeared at folk festivals in Ohio and Phoenix, AZ and has performed at the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society convention in Nashville.

What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 30 - 180 minutes

Tom Conner performs many styles of music. I play weddings, festivals, concerts, parties, river cruises, memorial services, Christmas events and church events. I play solo guitar with classical and acoustic instruments. I also have shows featuring electric guitar. I do featured concerts or background music.

Stage/Setup Requirements:
110 volt electric power.

Additional Notes:
Need 110 volt power . Dry location-prefer a hard surface to set up on rather than grass.
