Attended, of all things, a "celebration of life" where Gar performed. A large and noisy crowd, Gar kept his music subdued. Yet, he was joined on set by someone who just "sat in" and conversed with guests throughout the evening in a personable way. Gar is a skilled musician, who can perform in a virtuoso manner, from all genres of music. He would fit in a club, a reception, a guitar pulling or a church service. He can wow a few or impress many. A treasure for East Tennessee.
