About

The Six String Boys are the perfect combination of raw talent mixed with undying dedication to their music. They have spent countless hours in the studio finding and perfecting their sound. They have recently aquired their first taste of radio play in and around the state of Texas with their single "Take My Hand." Their lead singer and songwriter Josh Spivey simply does not know how to give up and strives harder and harder each day to reach the ranks of such artists as Jason Boland, Pat Green, Cory Morrow and Wade Bowen. On stage the guys perform the type of shows that keep crowds begging them for an encore. Josh, being a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, writes the kind of songs that speak of real life situations and connect with the blue collar lifestyle. Comprised of musicians from all types of backgrounds, The Six String Boys have derived their very own sound that can be mimicked by no one. Evan Beran, the youngest of the band, comes from Caldwell, Texas and gets his musical inspiration from a blues and southern rock background. Justin Ng, the PhD. holder from San Antonio, is from the blues and alternative background. Nick Catalina, the wild and crazy drummer from Bryan, Texas, has been in bands from all different types of genres. Josh Spivey, the lead singer and rythm guitarist, is from Marquez, Texas and comes from a country and old southern rock and roll background. Josh has led the guys on a non stop musical campaign and intends to storm the beaches of the Texas music scene. They have already begun to turn heads in Nashville and intend on ensuring that The Six String Boys are a household name by years end. This is one group of guys that you should take the time to get to know.
