I'm Scott Capri; ventriloquist comedian. I have been an active ventriloquist for over 20 years and take pride in producing quality shows that entertain and bring audiences together with laughter and fun. That, combined with the many characters and voices, makes my shows full of variety and excitement! My performances include an old geezer, midget old man, a talk show host, a Rock Star, an Ancient Chinese mind reader, and even my twin brother Sid (an AMAZING vent figure) to name a few!! Audience participation is almost always the most enjoyed and hysterical part of my shows. I have a “Human Dummy” routine where I control what an audience member says with an ingenious mask!

I wanted to take a few moments to tell you about myself. I am Scott Capri; ventriloquist comedian. I have been an active ventriloquist for over 20 years and take pride in producing quality shows that entertain and bring audiences together with laughter and fun. Combine that with the many characters and voices I have, and it makes my shows full of variety and excitement! Just to name a few, my performances include an old geezer, midget old man, a talk show host, a Rock Star, an Ancient Chinese mind reader, a Funny Cowboy, Happy Dragon, Sweet Leprechaun (kids LOVE this guy), and even my twin brother Sid (that is an AMAZING figure that looks exactly like me)! This vast collection of puppet figures, my love of the art, passion for my work, experience, and my many voices gives me the ability to adapt to any type of audience from a theater full of children, to adults, or a mixture of both. My broad range of unique and custom routines enable me to entertain audiences with some rock solid comedy! Audience participation is almost always the most enjoyed and hysterical part of my shows. I have what I call the “Human Dummy” routine. It is essentially a mask that goes over a volunteer audience member that enables me to control what they say with special hidden cables! I use it to turn them into anything from a screaming bratty baby to a singer, or just simply a human dummy! My hands-on approach and professional attitude make me a pleasure to work with. I have preformed at and have been seen on "Americas Got Talent”, The Discovery show “Oddities”, an off Broadway show in my own 1 hour special, MC work, and all over the best comedy venues in NYC. I have Tailor made several routines specifically to cater to the any venue or entertainment motif. I can supply several references. I can be available for short term or long term work at reasonable rates.
