Taylor Swift Impersonator
Having attended an all girl's school in South Carolina from the the time I was eleven until graduation, I was walking down the halls of middle school whilst Taylor Swift, only three years older than me, was strutting her stuff down music row. It seemed as though Taylor was reading our diaries and writing "our" songs. Her ability to write and record music that so honestly reflected how a girl thinks, feels, and acts attracted me to her music, and before her first single even came out, I was hooked.
After the Head of School, fortunately for me, came down with an illness on the day of the Halloween Carnival, I was snatched out of class, thrown a sparkly dress and cowgirl boots, and told "The entire lower school is waiting for Taylor Swift to show up. That's gonna be you." This show at the Halloween carnival was my first show as Taylor Swift, and was the onset of many appearances to come.
From little girl's birthday parties, to stand-up serenades at restaurants, to wedding toasts and rehearsal dinners, I have carried my sparkly guitar, and inner Taylor Swift, with me every where I go. Being a Taylor Swift impersonator has been an opportunity I execute with pride, compassion, and responsibility. I strive to make each performance memorable and entertaining- an opportunity my guests will cherish for years.
I sing an array of songs from all four of Taylor's albums. I can dress as the curly haired, sundress and cowgirl booted Taylor Swift, and also as the more recent Taylor Swift with straight hair and more trendy, edgy fashion. Some songs I sing acoustically, and others I prefer to do with the CD to have accompanying instruments. At all parties I sing my set and stay and chat with the guests, thank them for having me, take pictures, answer questions, and sign autographs. I am not bothered at children's birthday parties when they want to touch my guitar, hug me, or tell me a hundred stories. I feel that is the reason I am at the party, and welcome their excitement with open arms.
Please contact me if you are interested and have more questions. I would be happy to answer them! Thank you!
