About

Stephanie is a recent graduate from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a masters of Music degree in Oboe performance and also holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Indiana University of PA. Stephanie began her music career at the age of 8 years old starting with piano lessons. She sang with the Singing Boys of Pennsylvania/Keystone Girls Choir under the direction of K. Bernard Schade at the age of 9-13 and tour various regions around the country. While, doing her four year experience she also learned clarinet at age 10 and oboe at age 13. Stephanie has performed with such prestigious groups as the Keystone Winds under the direction of Jack Stamp, the UNCG Wind Ensemble under the direction of John Locke and Kevin Geraldi, whose recent invitation to the CBDNA conference has made them quite well respected, UNCG Symphony Orchestra, The IUP Wind Ensemble under the direction of Jack Stamp, The IUP Symphony Orchestra and numerous other small ensembles. Stephanie has also made an appearance with the Allentown Symphony orchestra, has performed and rehearsed with many prominent people such as Patricia Prattis Jennings, Eugene Rousseau, H. Robert Reynolds, Joseph Schwantner, Paula Holcomb, Frank Tichelli, and numerous others. She has also played for Leann Rymes. In addition, she has performed live recitals on numerous occasions over the course of 2005-2009. In addition, Stephanie is a classically trained vocalist who performs for various weddings and has been a cantor for Holy Family Church in Nazareth for the past 13 years. Also, she has taught General/Vocal Music at Coolbaugh Elementary Center in the Pocono Mountain School District. Her teachers include: Piano: (late) Dorothy Reiss, Jack Stevenson, James Staples, and Edwin Fry.
