December 12, 2025Awesome
We hired Kenny for our company's holiday party. He was responsive, great to work with, and super talented. The live music added such a nice touch to our event and many people commented on Kenny's wide repertoire -- from Sinatra to Coldplay to TLC, there was a great mix for everyone to enjoy. Would definitely hire him again!

About
Kenny Fong attended Snow College in 2011 studying jazz performance, eventually pursuing and graduating with a Bachelor’s in Commercial Music with an emphasis in composition in 2015. Since then, Kenny has performed and composed music full-time in a large variety of musical settings on clarinet, flute, piano, and primarily tenor saxophone with wedding bands, jazz & blues groups, Latin ensembles, and aboard British cruise lines that traversed the world. Beyond performing, Kenny composed the theme music of Gary Whitta’s hit Twitch show, “Animal Talking” in 2020 and currently functions as musical director for two ensembles, of which “Flamingo” has performed for the NBA, and headlined the Utah Arts Festival in 2024 and 2025. Today, Kenny continues his pursuit in music with performance as a focal point

Set list
A typical setlist for me, with the aim to have "something for everyone" in a cocktail hour/dinner set will often include a few jazz standards, some soul and Motown standards (ie. Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keyes, and Al Green), mixed with modern romantic songs (ie. jvke, Daniel Cesar, and Sam Smith), a splash of some Norah Jones and Chris Stapleton's, "Tennessee Whiskey" and everyone will find a tune they enjoy.
For DJ sets I'm able to riff over any tune, any key, any tempo, I let the DJ set the tone and I help to elevate the energy! Common requested DJ/Sax songs include "Jubel" by Klingande, "Sthlm Sunset" by Ehrling, and "This Girl" by Kungs and Cookin' on 3 Burners
Influences and inspiration
My biggest influences on the saxophone are Lenny Pickett, Eric Marienthal, and Michael Brecker, and am also a big fan of contemporary saxophonists such as Kenny G, Dave Koz, and Gerald Albright. For my solo act, I aim for easy listening, classy vibes for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and dinners, while for receptions with bands and DJs, I aim to bring high energy to elevate the atmosphere and light up the dance floor!
Setup requirements
Cover or weather protection if outside
