Sara was very professional and her balloon art is fantastic!
Sara was great to work with. We hired her to work at our 125th celebration in Moville. She contacted me ahead of time to ask about my expectations and was very flexible throughout the day with extra requests. The kids really liked her and she is definitely friendly and easy to work with. Her balloon art was amazing. About
Special K'z the Clown is located in Holstein Iowa and serves Northwest Iowa, Southeast South Dakota, Northeast Nebraska and Southwest Minnesota. She is willing to travel longer distances for larger events. Special K'z is an accomplished balloon twister experienced in typical line work balloon creations as well as larger display creations for special events. Photographs of recent constructions as well as references available upon request. She has over 20 years experience working as a teacher and recreation leader with children and the elderly in schools and care facilities. She is well versed in children's music and typical sing-a-long songs and plays accompaniment on her autoharp. She has a variety of other rhythm band type instruments to add clowny accompaniment to her show. Special K'z has preformed at birthday parties for old and young, town festivals and parades, fairs and carnivals, nursing homes, libraries, school events, waterparks, customer appreciation events, and is available for any size event. Custom designed packages can be arrange to meet your needs.

Influences
I have a great appreciation of the great comedians of the modern T.V. era, to include but not limited to Lucille Ball, Dick Van Dyke, John Ritter, Dom DeLuise, Robin Williams. I especially enjoy the zany or crazy aspects of their performances as well as the physical humor. The artistic work of the greatest mime of all time Marcel Marceau has been a great inspiration.
What to Expect
Typical Gig Duration: 60 - 600 minutes
Clean family friendly comedy entertainment. I can preform walk around comedy working a crowd with a variety of highly visual props, gags, and jokes. I also play an authentic stumpf fiddle percussion instrument to pre recorded music and use an autoharp to accompany silly folk style songs and children's sing along type songs. My show consists of a blend of music and magic with huge, innovative balloons in the finale.
Stage/Setup Requirements:
Standard 3 prong electical outlet needed within 125 feet or extension cord will be needed to reach outlet
Additional Notes:
I have my own sound system complete with microphones, etc. I have only need of a standard electrical outlet within 150 feet of performance area. If on an elevated stage it is helpful to have easy access for volunteers to come up on stage to be part of the show.

Pre Show- Autoharp and various comedy/children's songs such as Backwards Alphabet, Down by the Bay, Hey Hey Good Lookin' typical children's or folk or old time music.
Introduction with audience volunteers comedy clown gag

Magic set with new volunteer: may include a variety of magic productions such as magic coloring book, dove pan production, change bag, etc.
Recorded music: Rhythm instruments for volunteers
Larger balloon constructions: Whale Balloon Puppet, Larger fish, Octopus,
Finale: Final recorded song to Balloon shoot off, Confetti,
Typical Stage show may include up to 2 to 8 volunteers
