Why hire Sister Swing?
Sister Swing is an exciting trio of singers which has captured the Big Band Swing era and brought it to the 21st century. Heavily influenced by groups like the Andrews Sisters, the Boswell Sisters, and Manhattan Transfer, Sister Swing brings a new sound to an old style. An evening with Sister Swing will take you back in time to an era of glamour, romance and innocence. Performing for sold-out venues at jazz festivals up on the west coast, and entertaining music lovers of all ages, Sister Swing is bringing back the 3-part harmonies of the thirties and forties. Sister Swing is comprised of 3 female singers with a 5 or 7-piece band. We would be glad to make your event a smashing success!
About
Sister Swing provides musical entertainment for dinners, dances or concerts. The three Sisters wear vintage outfits, hats and gloves to emphasize the music of the 1930s and 1940s. We enjoy making the client's event special. The Sister Swing band is comprised of a 3 or 4-piece rhythm (piano, guitar, bass and drums) and 3 horns (trumpet, reeds and trombone). We also can reduced the size of our band to the rhythm section and one horn.
