Shout Section burst onto the scene in 2008 and is one of the most energetic and exciting jazz ensembles in the Chicagoland area. Shout Section Big Band is a full-sized professional jazz orchestra comprised of Chicagoland’s up-and-coming performers and renowned veteran musicians. This band is intense, professional and affordable. Shout Section Big Band performs the best examples of jazz, rock, latin, and swing.
The members of Shout Section Big Band enjoy performing for weddings, special events and concerts across the Midwest. In 2009, the band was featured three times at Chicago's "Galaxie" swing dancing venue, Chicago’s national swing dancing convention (aka: The Windy City Lindy Exchange) and on WGN Television. The group maintains a busy itinerary which you can find on their website. Shout Section is available to perform for your swing dancing event, summer park festival and banquet event anywhere in the Midwest.
