Deka Records recording artist, Robb Wise, is now booking solo acoustic gigs for all venues public and private. Founder and former singer of Tulsa-based (Oklahoma) rock band, Zero Crossing, Robb's debut album 'Story of My Life' is now available on iTunes and Amazon.
Robb's acoustic material is primarily composed of rock tunes ranging from the 70's to today. Some of the acts he covers include Seether, Nickelback, Theory of a Deadman, Beatles, Skid Row, Poison, Alice in Chains, Hinder, KISS, and many more.
No party or venue is too big or small: Robb has rocked stages all across the Midwest and East Coast.
Robb is currently fronting Meridian One in Baltimore, MD.
About
Robb's solo performance incorporates a wide range of rock and roll hits from the 70s, 80s, 90, and today. He has been performing for over 10 years and released a full length album through Deka Records in 2009 with his band Zero Crossing. He is a singer and songwriter, but ultimately, Robb is a performer who loves to entertain. He takes his craft very seriously and his rock and roll style is clearly evident in his physical appearance, song selection, and vocal style. He is no cheap imitation.
Robb commands an audience with his charm, addicting vocal melodies, and rock and roll persona. No matter the location of the event or size of the event, he plays each one as a 'Sold Out' arena.
For six years, Robb rocked the Midwest with his band Zero Crossing. They signed a recording contract with Deka Records in 2008 and released their debut album 'Story of My Life' in 2009, with much success.
In 2011, Robb moved to Baltimore and is currently fronting a rock band called Meridian One. Robb continues to write music and perform hits from 'Story of My Life', as well as perform hit rock covers that thrill and entertain his audiences.
The covers that he selects are carefully selected so that they are fresh with the audience. His selection criteria is simple: he doesn't select songs other acts are playing, and he selects songs which he is confident will resonate with his audience and evoke an emotional response. For example, 80's metal songs really impact his mid-thirties audience.
In his 10 years performing, Robb has never left an audience disappointed.

What to Expect
Typical Gig Duration: 60 - 180 minutes
If solo acoustic is desired, a wide range of rock and roll from highly percussive acoustic versions of hard rock to more subdued rock ballads is what Robb will deliver. Further, the audience will feel power and conviction from Robb's vocals and level of performance. His song selections empower him to be intense and engaged on some songs and light-hearted and amusing on others.
If Robb enlists the support of his band, Meridian One, for an acoustic engagement then the range of music and richness increases even more with the addition of tone and harmonies.
Overall, an audience can expect to be exposed to a dynamic range of rock-inspired emotions.
